• Directions
  • 1. Ensure exhaust system is cool before applying putty.
  • 2. Wire brush or sand to remove loose rust and dirt. Repair area must be clean.
  • 3. IMPORTANT: Knead pouches before opening.
  • 4. Apply with putty knife, pressing the putty into hole or leak.
  • 5. Let car idle for 10 minutes to speed up dry time. If possible, let car stand overnight before driving. DO NOT RACE MOTOR BEFORE PUTTY HARDENS COMPLETELY.
  • 6. For larger holes, reinforce repair area with wire screen before applying putty. For a lasting repair, use Permatex Muffler and Tailpipe Bandage over puttied areas.
